Adoption is wonderful option for couples that are experiencing infertility. However, the process of adopting a child can be filled with just as much heartache as the experience of failed conception. Honest people with good reputations will have no problem offering references for you to speak with. If at all possible use an agency that worked well for someone that you know. Working with an agency that someone else you know has used successfully is the best reference of all.

Often couples overlook warning signs, because they are eager to have a child. Trusting your instincts and being knowledgeable about your situation is part of a good defense strategy. Protecting yourself and being patient will increase the likelihood of a happy ending.
